Position responsibilities will include:

• Must be a Team Member and conduct all aspects appropriately.
• Develop marine accommodations 3D systems models and all drawings in compliance with the contract documents, project specifications, and regulatory agencies utilizing AutoCAD MEP, PDMS, PDS…
• Capable in managing multiple tasks and multiple client interfaces.
• Possess a strong ability systems interference resolution while considering all aspects of the project including other systems, cost, schedule, constructability…
• Develop standard designs and technical specifications to improve the capabilities and performance of the engineering Team for current projects as well as future projects
• Capable of checking systems developed by other designers and draftspersons.
• Mentor and develop the lesser experienced engineering personnel.
• Understand the needs and interface with other departments such as Document Control, Operations, Reprographics, Proposal and project Data Entry
• Report to Engineering Management regarding status of the work assigned.
• Assist other departments in the success of the entire company

Qualifications should include:

• 5+ years experience in marine design
• Preference will be given to candidate with Construction experience
• High School diploma with some college course work
• Excellent skills with AutoCAD MEP software.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office products
• Exceptional communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work overtime when needed including possibly working weekends.
• Ability to work well with others

Work Environment:

• Office - Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
• Business casual attire
• Jobsite and ship checks will be required from time to time.
